Stock up on supplies for any eventuality
There’s an old bromide — prepare for the worst but hope for the best — that sums up what we do here at Well Prepared. Whatever the disaster, whether it be natural or man-made, it’s always a good idea to stock up on supplies you might need in any eventuality (we’ve already covered many of these disasters in this blog). One of the most important of these supplies is, of course, food.
Food isn’t the only thing you should get, but it’s definitely at the top of the list. A 2009 review in “Archiv Fur Kriminologie” reported that humans can survive without food and water for just eight to 21 days, though your personal survival time greatly depends upon a number of additional factors — your size, hydration status and activity level.
Preparedness for long-term and short-term tragedies
Making sure you and your family have enough Emergency Food to survive in a short- or long-term disaster can truly mean the difference between life and death. It means keeping each other healthy while also keeping each other safe. If you can do that, then you can survive almost anything.
Be sure to get well prepared with emergency food here!
