The fit on this battery is as easy as pushing the button on the old battery and removing it. After setting aside the old battery, you just need to insert the new battery after raising the belt clip. You are now ready to talk, monitor, or listen longer on your BaoFeng BF-F8HP or UV-5R radio than you were able to previously!

We received these batteries directly from BaoFeng Tech. You can't go wrong with that. These batteries are designed for your radio and will fit in your BF-F8 and UV-5R ham radio models. These batteries also include a 2.5mm socket on the side from which you can charge your battery while on the go! Although there is not a charging cable included you can be sure to find one on many fine online establishments. Be sure to get yourself a fused DC transformer that is regulated to an 8.4 volt output. We don't want to fry your battery or your radio after all. We will not be held responsible for your trying this with a 12 volt output car charger.
